How MuViCure Works
The composition of the film and music highlights the musical and visual elements that research has shown to have a positive impact on relaxation and positive inspiration.
The music is composed for acoustic classical instruments and then mixed with original nature sounds. It is based on a slow pulse equaling the human heartbeat and deliberately avoids loud dynamic peaks.
The positive effects of music have been documented in a multitude of scientific papers. In stressed patients, music has been shown to reduce the level of the stress hormone cortisol and produce a number of positive biological effects, such as increasing the pain threshold in both acute and chronic pain.
"What affects our mind affects our bodily health and vice versa. This is the simple idea behind the MuViCure concept. By using slow moving images and specially composed music, the senses are stimulated and cultivated, which affects both the psyche and well-being of the stressed patient. " Professor, MD,. Lars Heslet
