Composer and Producer Niels Eje
Niels Eje trained at the Carl Nielsen Academy of Music in Denmark (oboe and composition) during the seventies, with further studies with Lothar Koch, Berlin Philharmonic at Mozarteum in Salzburg. In the eighties he was employed as Principal Oboe in the Danish Radio Symphony Orchestra, and co-founded the Selandia, Solisti Pro Musica and Trio Rococo ensembles.
Since 1990, he has worked as an independent soloist, chamber musician and composer, writing music for theatre, film and TV, as well as being involved in more than 40 CD productions with various ensembles, including Miles Davis' "Aura" and the complete Trio Rococo catalogue.
