Hospital Staff

MuViCure is created as a contrast to an often stressful media-platform. As a member of hospital staff you are in a good position to inform the patient of the benefit MuViCure could provide.

Guideline to the use of MuViCure programs based on evaluation from quantitative study

1. Comfortable sitting/lying down position
The patient should be placed in a comfortable position to avoid pain. The patient can watch the film in a supine situation or lying on his side.

2. The angle of the monitor
The monitor should be situated in a suitable angle allowing the patient to look directly into it

3. The right sound environment
Negative sounds in the room should be reduced (telephones, door bells, noisy moveable stands etc.)

4. Screening
Activities around the patient should be minimized. Preferably the patient should be screened.

5. Volume
Volume should be suitable as too high or low volume can have a negative effect on the patient.

6. Patient control
If possible the patient should be in the position to control volume and on/off function on the monitor.
